This policy explains how SMU Limousine LLC, doing business as Alesta Limo ("we"), 140 E Ridgewood Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652, handles personal information collected through alestalimo.com.
Information we collect
- Booking details you give us: name, mobile phone, email, pick-up and drop-off addresses, date and time, flight number, number of passengers and bags, and notes for the chauffeur.
- Payment information: card payments are processed by Square, Inc. We receive the payment amount and the last digits of the card, never the full card number.
- Technical information: our hosting provider (Netlify) and Google Maps receive standard data such as your IP address and browser type when you use the site.
How we use it
- To provide, confirm and manage your ride, including contacting you about your pickup.
- To process payments, refunds and receipts.
- To track flights for airport pickups.
- To meet legal, tax and insurance requirements.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
- Square, to process payments (Square privacy notice).
- Google Maps Platform, to suggest addresses and calculate routes (Google privacy policy).
- Netlify, which hosts this website.
- Your assigned chauffeur, who receives only what is needed for the ride.
- Authorities, when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed for the ride and for tax, accounting and legal purposes, generally up to 7 years.
Your choices and rights

Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may call or text you about your booking only. We do not send marketing texts. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and payments go through Square's secure checkout. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our booking service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
